Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Manager for AI Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a world-class AI services team delivering first-of-its-kind GenAI applications for strategic customers.

You will travel monthly, shape the product roadmap, and collaborate with Product, R&D, and GTM to convert customer insights into scalable delivery. You will mentor and grow top data scientists and ML engineers, drive strategic initiatives, and own OKRs for key accounts, while representing Databricks as a thought

Qualifications

• Leadership of AI/ML scientists and engineers
• Ability to scope, sell and deliver technical engagements in enterprise settings
• Strong technical depth in AI/ML foundations and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience guiding executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-performing AI Forward Deployed Engineering team
• Shape product roadmap and GTM strategy with voice-of-customer insights
• Develop executive relationships with VP+/CIO/CDO-level stakeholders
• Coordinate delivery across Field Engineering and Sales leadership
• Own OKRs for AI-services led accounts and revenue growth
