Job summary

Databricks AI Forward Deployed Engineering (AI FDE) team delivers professional services to build and productionize GenAI apps. You will work with customers across domains, shaping strategic AI initiatives and collaborating with product and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes GenAI, RAG, multi-agent systems, and large-scale ML deployments, with remote flexibility and opportunities to travel for customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning
• Expertise deploying production-grade GenAI applications
• Extensive hands-on data science experience with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch
• Experience building production-grade ML deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Willingness to travel to see customers every 4–8 weeks

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions incorporating Databricks AI research
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers
• Present at conferences such as Data + AI Summit
• Collaborate cross-functionally to shape product roadmap
