Job summary

Golub Capital in New York seeks an Assistant Vice President to drive AI-enabled business process transformation across the firm. You will partner with business stakeholders to reimagine workflows, challenge assumptions and craft roadmaps for enterprise AI solutions.

This role focuses on AI-first design, governance, and change management, working with AI engineering, data, and delivery teams to translate future-state designs into actionable initiatives that deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in software delivery, product management, technology consulting or business process transformation with demonstrated AI experience.
• Deep understanding of AI capabilities, architectures and design patterns including AI agents, enterprise context layers, Model Context Protocol (MCP), context engineering and knowledge grounding strategies.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks, multi-agent systems, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and enterprise search is desirable.
• Experience leading business process re-engineering and strategic transformation initiatives with stakeholders.
• Ability to apply AI-first design to reimagine workflows and operating models.
• Experience in strategic planning and roadmap development for AI initiatives.
• Strong communication, analytical and collaboration skills.
• Enthusiastic about working in a hybrid work culture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize and roadmap AI transformation opportunities.
• Analyze processes, workflows and knowledge flows to design AI-native operating models.
• Conduct current-state and future-state assessments and redesign processes with AI-first principles.
• Translate future-state designs into executable roadmaps and enterprise AI solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Develop scalable AI transformation frameworks and best practices.
• Build business cases and metrics to realize value from AI initiatives.
• Ensure AI solutions are secure and compliant with governance standards.
• Lead organizational change to maximize value from AI-enabled transformation.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and translate into practical applications.
• Foster AI innovation through communities of practice and knowledge sharing.
