Job summary

Cisco is seeking a highly technical Solutions Engineer to co-own an Orange County territory. You’ll partner with an Account Executive to translate complex architectures into business value across Cisco’s end-to-end portfolio.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled workflows, pre-sales execution, and executive-level communication with stakeholders. Requires 5+ years in technical consulting and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical consulting or customer-facing solutions architecture.
• Active, verified industry certification (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure, Security+ or equivalent).
• Documented competence in core networking, security protocols, and cloud architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/IT or 4 years of equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own territory strategy with Account Executive, including planning and revenue growth.
• Lead as trusted technical consultant across Cisco portfolio (Networking, Security, AI, etc.).
• Conduct discovery, demos, roadmaps, POVs, and Bills of Materials with customers.
• Embed AI-driven workflows, agentic AI, and automation into sales processes.
