Cisco in Orange County, CA is hiring an AI-first Solutions Engineer to partner with an Account Executive, lead technical strategy, and accelerate customer transformations using Cisco's portfolio and modern AI tools like vibe coding and agentic AI. The role combines pre-sales engineering, executive-level presentations, and hands-on prototyping to accelerate revenue and technical adoption.

Qualifications

At least 5 years in technical consulting or customer-facing solutions architecture.
Active industry certification (examples: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure, Security+).
Strong foundation in core networking, security protocols, and cloud architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, IT, or 4 years of equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Co-lead account strategy, targeting, and revenue growth with an Account Executive.
Deliver demos, POVs, and architecture models showing business value of AI-enabled solutions.
Lead discovery workshops, roadmaps, POVs, and prepare accurate BoMs.
Integrate agentic AI, vibe coding, custom agents, and automated workflows into engagements.
Present architectures and outcomes to engineers and C-suite with high emotional intelligence.
Collaborate with regional teams, architecture specialists, business units, and channel partners.
