Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• End-to-end delivery: take software from concept through launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud.
• Applied AI experience: large language models, retrieval, tools, or similar patterns.
• Evaluation experience: automated testing and behavioral evaluation.
• Live-service ownership: telemetry, debugging, reliability, and recovery.
• User-centered practice: work with users, designers, and product leaders.
• Engineering craft: clear specs, maintainable code, and thoughtful reviews.
• Travel up to 50% and hybrid office availability in the US.

Responsibilities

• Start with the user: collaborate with users and domain experts to map real workflows and identify AI value.
• Test assumptions quickly: translate hypotheses into concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices: build coherent verticals across experience, data, AI behavior, and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior: design instructions, context, retrieval, and tool usage with careful adaptation.
• Build the evidence system: create tasks and automated evaluations for usefulness, safety, and accessibility.
• Connect outcomes to behavior: instrument journeys to relate adoption to latency, failures, and cost.
• Engineer for responsible use: define permission boundaries, data handling, and rollback paths.
• Maintain production quality: release incrementally, monitor, and recover from incidents.
• Make practical trade-offs: balance UX, quality, speed, reliability, and cost.
• Contribute reusable patterns: share components and evaluation assets across the platform.
