EY is seeking an experienced engineer to turn AI capabilities into durable, user-centered products. You’ll own vertical slices across experience, services and data, design AI behavior, and build an evidence-driven product with strong production practices. Expect hybrid work and up to 50% travel as part of delivering real-world AI solutions.

The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, deep AI experience, and collaboration across product, design, and platform teams to ship impactful, scalable systems.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• End-to-end delivery: taking software from concept to launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud technologies.
• Applied AI experience: building products with large language models and retrieval.
• Evaluation experience: automated testing and behavioral evaluation for probabilistic systems.
• Live-service ownership: telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, and performance.
• User-centered practice: collaborating with users, designers, and product leaders.
• Engineering craft: clear specs, maintainable code, thoughtful reviews, and good trade-offs.
• Requires up to 50% travel and hybrid office presence.

• Start with the user and work with users to understand real workflows and identify AI value.
• Test assumptions quickly with concise specifications, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and enterprise integrations.
• Shape AI behavior with instructions, context, retrieval, and structured outputs.
• Build the evidence system with representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Instrument user journeys to relate adoption and task success to system behavior and cost.
• Engineer for responsible use with clear permission boundaries and secure data handling.
• Own production quality by releasing incrementally and monitoring live behavior.
