Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a senior engineer to turn AI capabilities into durable products. You’ll work end-to-end, close to users, product decisions, and production code, building coherent vertical slices across the experience, services, data, AI behavior, and enterprise integrations.

This role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on AI product delivery with strong engineering craft.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• End-to-end delivery from concept to launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud technologies.
• Applied AI experience with large language models, retrieval, tools, or similar patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavioral evaluation.
• Live-service ownership including telemetry, debugging, reliability, and incident response.
• User-centered practice with direct collaboration with users, designers, and product leaders.
• Engineering craft with clear specifications, maintainable code, and sound trade-offs.
• Travel up to 50% and hybrid office presence.

Responsibilities

• Start with the user and understand real workflows with domain experts.
• Test assumptions quickly with concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior with well-designed instructions, context, and tooling.
• Build an evidence system with representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Instrument user journeys to relate adoption to system behavior, latency, and cost.
• Engineer for responsible use with data handling, permissions, and rollbacks.
• Maintain production quality by releasing incrementally and monitoring live behavior.
• Balance experience, quality, speed, reliability, and cost in implementation.
• Share reusable patterns and evaluation assets with the platform.
