Job summary

US LBM Holdings, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Order-to-Cash) to provide technical leadership while hands-on building highly available applications, APIs, and integrations across the order-to-cash platform, billing, credit, collections, cash application, and reconciliation. You will partner with Product Managers and Architects to align tech with business goals.

This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic leadership, AI-driven discovery, and rapid prototyping to demonstrate

Qualifications

5+ years developing and delivering web, mobile, enterprise, or integration solutions.
4+ years of full-stack development experience.
Strong leadership through mentoring, code reviews, architecture, and delivery ownership.
Hands-on with full-stack apps using TypeScript/JavaScript (React front end, Node.js back end).
Experience with Python and/or Rust; databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Experience in order-to-cash, billing, AR/collections, and financial integrations.
Design and consume secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Experience with containerized workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Able to partner with PMs, architects, and business stakeholders.
Interest or experience applying AI to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Product Manager to own use-case discovery and rapid prototyping, testing and proving AI opportunities.
Drive the team toward an AI-First software development lifecycle across discovery, design, coding, testing, and delivery.
Lead engineering of order-to-cash solutions and integrations across billing, credit, collections, cash application, and reconciliation.
Improve receivables automation and cash flow through automation and AI.
Remain hands-on in complex development while providing technical leadership and mentoring.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, and integrations.
Translate requirements into scalable solutions with product and business stakeholders.
Guide technical design and architecture for scalable, secure, reliable systems.
Drive delivery priorities, manage risks and dependencies, report progress.
Build reusable integration patterns, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and standards.
Champion AI-assisted development and automated testing, AI code review, and intelligent workflows.
Troubleshoot production and integration issues while preserving data integrity.
