Job summary

US LBM Holdings, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Digital Workplace) to provide technical leadership while hands-on delivering highly available apps and integrations across the digital workplace. You will partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to align technology with business goals and guide teams through design, development, deployment, and support in an AI-first software lifecycle.

The role blends hands-on engineering, mentoring, and architectural guidance, focused on

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong hands-on full‑stack development with modern JS/TS stacks.
Experience with AI-first engineering practices and prototyping.

Responsibilities

Own use-case discovery and rapid prototyping with PM to test AI opportunities.
Drive AI-first lifecycle from discovery to delivery and code reviews.
Lead engineering across digital workplace, identity, and workflow automation.
Improve associate experience and automate workflows using AI and modern design.
Remain hands-on while mentoring and performing design reviews.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, and integrations.
Translate requirements into scalable solutions with stakeholders.
Guide architecture for scalable, secure, reliable systems.
Drive delivery priorities, manage risks, and communicate progress.
Build reusable integration patterns, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
Champion AI-assisted development and automated testing.
Troubleshoot complex production/integration issues.
