Job summary

You will collaborate with engineering, platform, cloud, security, and delivery teams to raise standards, improve quality, and accelerate AI-enhanced workflows.

The role emphasizes defining standards, conducting reviews, and creating reusable patterns to enable independent teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience across enterprise stacks.
• 8+ years with Java, Spring Boot, Azure and/or AWS in microservices and APIs.
• 4+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/Jenkins.
• 4+ years in cloud-native/containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• 4+ years of relational or NoSQL database experience in enterprise apps.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted development tools to improve outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/SE or related field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve engineering standards for code quality, architecture patterns, CI/CD, and application security across the portfolio.
• Conduct solution architecture reviews, code reviews, and design consultations for teams building in Java, Spring Boot, .NET, Angular, Python, and related technologies.
• Create reusable patterns, reference implementations, and technical decision frameworks to improve consistency.
• Translate enterprise guidance into actionable engineering practices for delivery teams.
• Champion adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows and developer tools to improve quality and throughput.
• Prototype solutions, build internal tools, and contribute to critical-path code to accelerate delivery.
• Identify systemic quality issues across the portfolio and implement improvements for defect rates and lead times.
• Deliver training and knowledge sharing to strengthen architectural thinking and production ownership across teams.
