Job summary
US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Digital Workplace) in Atlanta, GA to provide technical leadership and hands-on development across the digital workplace, collaboration, identity, and workflow automation.
You will partner with Product Managers and Architects to align tech delivery with business goals, prototyping AI use cases and guiding teams through design and delivery in a modern AI-first lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- 5+ years developing and delivering custom web, mobile, enterprise, or integration solutions
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience
- Demonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, design guidance, architecture, and delivery ownership
- Experience developing back-end services in Python and/or Rust, and working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience building and integrating digital workplace platforms (Microsoft 365, Workday, Simpplr, Power Automate, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf) including workflow automation
- Experience designing and consuming secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Experience partnering with Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders
- Interest in applying AI to accelerate delivery and prototyping AI use cases with product partners
- Familiarity with C#/.NET is a plus in a TS/Node.js/Python/Rust stack
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Product Manager to own use-case discovery and rapid prototyping, identifying and proving AI opportunities
- Drive AI-first software development lifecycle across discovery, design, coding, testing, and delivery
- Lead engineering across digital workplace, collaboration, identity, endpoint, intranet, and workflow automation
- Improve associate experience and automate manual workflows with AI and modern design
- Remain hands-on while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, and integrations
- Translate requirements into scalable solutions with stakeholders
- Guide architecture to ensure scalable, secure, reliable solutions
- Drive delivery priorities and manage risks and dependencies
- Build reusable integration patterns and CI/CD pipelines
- Champion AI-assisted development and intelligent workflows
- Troubleshoot complex production issues while preserving data integrity
