Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a Group Financial Controller to own and scale group accounting, consolidation, reporting, and controls across multiple entities. This senior role reports to the CFO and focuses on building an AI-first accounting function in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You will drive IFRS/local GAAP compliance, oversee NetSuite ERP, and partner with executives on strategic financial governance while enabling rapid international expansion.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in accounting or senior finance roles in multi-entity settings.
• SaaS/cloud or deep-tech industry experience.
• Qualified accountant; IFRS/local GAAP knowledge; consolidation expertise.
• Hands-on, with ability to build finance infrastructure from scratch.
• Experience implementing AI in accounting workflows is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation across entities.
• Deliver management accounts, board and investor reporting.
• Ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee NetSuite ERP and drive automation and AI adoption.
• Manage audits, intercompany, and transfer pricing processes.
• Partner with CFO on strategic initiatives and governance.
• Build scalable accounting infrastructure for high-growth.
