Job summary

Outmarket AI is hiring its first Senior Accounting Manager / Controller to lead day-to-day accounting and build the financial infrastructure the company runs on. This foundational role will own the close, strengthen controls, and create reporting foundations to support rapid growth.

You will report to the Head of Finance & Strategy, partner with cross-functional leaders, and shape the AI-native finance stack that automates workflows and drives business insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-growth SaaS company.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and deferred revenue for subscription & usage businesses.
• Experience managing month-end close and preparing financial statements, and completing audits.
• Ability to build sophisticated financial models, automate workflows, and work with large datasets.
• Proven track record of building accounting processes in an early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and deliver GAAP-compliant financials.
• Maintain a clean, well-documented general ledger with scalable account coding.
• Oversee end-to-end AP and AR, including invoicing, collections, and expense management.
• Manage tax compliance and filings, and liaise with external auditors, tax and legal partners.
• Build and enforce internal controls; prep for audit readiness ahead of financing rounds.
• Define and own the AI-native finance tool stack and assess automation opportunities.
• Hire, mentor, and scale the accounting team as the function grows.
