Job summary

Affir is building a remote-first, AI-enabled onboarding program to help new engineers become confident, productive builders. You will design and deliver technical onboarding experiences across North America and Europe, blending in-person sessions in SF with scalable virtual programming.

You will partner with Engineering leaders and SMEs to translate AI-first practices into practical learning, including code review, testing, CI, deployment, and observability.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a technical leader in a software engineering organization.
• Experience with AI-assisted development, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability, and incident response.
• Proven ability to design and improve engineering workflows and learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of Engineering onboarding for new engineers across North America and EMEA.
• Lead hands-on learning sessions at the San Francisco office with virtual regional programming.
• Collaborate with Engineering leaders and SMEs to build and maintain onboarding content.
• Translate Affir’s AI-first practices into practical learning experiences (agent-assisted development, CI, deployment).
• Create clear onboarding plans to help new engineers connect with teams and contribute quickly.
• Coordinate with Recruiting, Learning, People Ops, IT, Facilities, Finance, and regional partners to ensure access and support for cohorts.
• Gather feedback and continuously improve onboarding content and operations.
