Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Onboarding Manager to craft an AI-first onboarding program that helps new engineers become confident builders. You will design technical learning, practical support, and a community to accelerate impact.

You’ll lead onboarding across North America and EMEA, with in-person sessions in San Francisco and regional virtual programs, partnering with Dev, SRE, Security, Architecture, and Product teams to deliver relevant content.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a technical leader in a software engineering organization.
• Understanding AI-assisted development, code review, testing, CI, deployment, observability, and incident response.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear plans, playbooks, and operating rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Engineering onboarding, creating a credible experience for new engineers across North America and EMEA.
• Lead hands-on learning experiences at the San Francisco office, with virtual and regional programming.
• Collaborate with Engineering leaders and SMEs to build and maintain onboarding content.
