Job summary

Affirm seeks an Engineering Onboarding Manager to develop an AI-first onboarding experience for new engineers. You will craft technical learning, practical support, and community that enable engineers to become confident builders across North America and EMEA.

The role combines hands-on sessions in the San Francisco office with scalable remote programming and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Learning, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of technical leadership in a software organization
• Experience building engineering onboarding programs
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable onboarding plans
• Strong collaboration with Engineering, Learning, Recruiting, People Ops and IT

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of Engineering onboarding across North America and EMEA
• Lead hands-on learning experiences at the San Francisco office and via virtual regional programs
• Create clear, role-specific onboarding plans with managers and mentors
• Coordinate with Recruiting, Learning, People Ops, IT, Facilities, Finance and regional partners to ensure access, equipment, environment and support
• Gather feedback from new hires and facilitators to continuously improve content and experiences
