Job summary

Brex in New York is seeking an engineering leader to scale onboarding systems and customer activation. You will drive strategic initiatives, mentor engineers, and partner with Product, Design, Operations, and GTM to ship AI-enhanced experiences.

You will guide end-to-end product delivery, emphasize architectural excellence, and champion a data-driven, customer-obsessed engineering culture in a hybrid New York office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong technical depth.
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading engineers in a high-growth environment.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end product experiences with AI-driven features.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in driving business and product strategies for onboarding.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and Sales to define priorities.
• Leverage AI to reimagine onboarding and automation workflows.
• Drive execution of the Onboarding roadmap and high-quality delivery.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers with hiring and mentoring.
• Improve engineering processes, architecture, and product quality.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer obsession.
