Job summary

Avoca is hiring its first dedicated Content Lead to build a content function from the ground up in NYC. You will own content strategy, define what topics we should own, and drive research, interviews, writing, and distribution to create high‑impact assets that shape how home services buyers think about AI-enabled growth.

You'll manage from idea to measurement, partnering with Product Marketing, Brand, and Sales to contribute to demand generation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content marketing, growth, or related area at a fast-growing B2B tech company.
• Portfolio showing content programs that drive traffic, conversions, and pipeline.
• Strong SEO knowledge and ability to build authoritative content.
• Exceptional writing, interviewing, and editorial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Avoca’s content strategy across topics and formats.
• Increase visibility via Google and AI search; own distribution and citation strategy.
• Lead end-to-end content production: research, interviews, writing, editing.
• Turn assets into demand gen campaigns across channels.
• Track performance and optimize for traffic, conversions, and pipeline.
• Create AI-first workflows for faster, higher-quality output without sacrificing originality.
