Avocado Green Brands is seeking an Associate Director of Content & Search Growth to lead a hands-on content program for a new authority platform, optimize product and category pages, and drive organic visibility in AI-driven answers. You will work closely with the CMO and cross‑functional teams to align content with brand voice and business goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of content, SEO, or copywriting experience for DTC or ecommerce brands.
Exceptional writing ability across technical explanations, product pages, and brand narrative.
Ability to write within an established brand voice and editorial standards.
Proven track record managing content programs and prioritizing impactful work.
Understanding of buying psychology and how high-consideration purchases are made.

Responsibilities

Launch and own a new authority content platform on the main domain, including IA, topic clusters, and publishing cadence.
Own product detail pages, category pages, and landing pages copy; optimize navigation labels, CTAs, FAQs, tooltips, and in-page education.
Own organic search strategy and AI visibility; report on organic traffic, revenue, and AI citation share.
Turn product specs into compelling, credible narratives; align with brand marketing on topic maps.
Direct a freelance bench to handle technical, certification-backed material and ensure editorial accuracy.
