Job summary

Klaviyo is building an AI-first Finance Technology team and seeks a Senior Lead AI Finance Technology Engineer to shape architecture, standards, and long-term vision for AI in finance.

You will partner across Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Procurement, Internal Audit and adjacent tech teams to ensure a compliant, integrated back-office stack powered by AI and scalable to a public, AI-forward SaaS model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of engineering or data engineering experience with 2+ years building AI/ML or LLM-powered solutions.
• Experience designing AI-powered workflows, copilots, or agents for enterprise finance systems.
• Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI-enabled financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-first finance systems and architectures.
• Architect AI-powered workflows that integrate NetSuite, Zip and other financial platforms.
• Partner with IT and Finance leadership to govern AI use, security and privacy in finance.
• Define standards for AI patterns, tooling, and reusable finance playbooks.
