EY’s Challenger program seeks a senior designer who will shape how people interact with AI-enabled systems. You’ll own interaction architecture, create intuitive experiences, and collaborate across product, engineering, AI, security, and research teams.

The role emphasizes designing for transparency, control, and trust, translating insights from user research into production-ready components and measurable outcomes. Travel up to 50% and hybrid office work are expected.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• Portfolio of shipped interaction design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or HCI work showing both thinking and implementation.
• Production proficiency in modern web or application technologies, delivering responsive, performant components.
• Experience designing for AI, search, recommendation, automation, or another adaptive system.
• Semantic UI, WCAG, WAI-ARIA, keyboard interaction, and assistive-technology testing.
• Travel and On-site requirements: up to 50% travel and hybrid office flexibility.

Aufgaben

• Define experience principles, interaction architecture, and reusable patterns for AI-assisted and agentic products.
• Conduct workflow research and usability testing with diverse users, including people who use assistive technologies.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes and accessible production components for web, application, conversational, or multimodal surfaces.
• Translate user intent into interaction specifications for clarification, uncertainty, memory, personalization, permissions, and action boundaries.
• Make plans, progress, evidence, tool activity, costs, and outcomes legible without overwhelming users.
• Design controls for preview, approval, interruption, edit, undo, retry, escalation, and human takeover.
• Measure task completion, effort, correction burden, recovery, and trust calibration; partner with AI, platform, security, and evaluation specialists to improve the whole experience.
