Job summary

PenFed Credit Union in Tysons, Virginia, seeks a Hybrid Learning Experience Partner to design impactful learning solutions using ADDIE/SAM/ROPES. You will develop courses, guides, and e-learning, partnering with SMEs to translate complex content into clear objectives.

Requires a bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years in learning design (2+ in instructional design), and proficiency with Articulate 360, Canva, and Adobe tools. Strong communication and AI-enabled design are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum five years of work experience; two years in instructional design.
• Graphic design knowledge and creativity required.
• HTML/web-based authoring or design skills required.
• Proficiency with AI tools for learning design.

Responsibilities

• Apply adult learning principles to design learner-centered content.
• Design materials: courses, guides, e-learning modules, and more.
• Create visual, audio, multimedia learning assets with tools.
• Define learning objectives aligned to business needs.
• Conduct needs assessments and stakeholder analyses.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Redesign content to improve learner outcomes and accessibility.
• Evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Manage learning initiatives from start to finish with minimal direction.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and PenFed products/services.
• Provide high level of customer service and professional communication.
