Job summary

Canon USA’s Sales Training team is seeking an Instructional Designer Specialist to build performance-based learning for new product launches and key initiatives.

You will lead design and development of microlearning, web-based training, and both virtual and in-person instructor-led programs for the sales force, using Articulate 360 and AI-enabled approaches.

This hybrid role requires in-office three days a week across our regional offices and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 3–5 years instructional design experience.
• Proficiency with Articulate 360 and MS Office; experience with Synthesia is a plus.
• Design microlearning, web-based training, and instructor-led programs.
• Travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps and goals.
• Design AI-enhanced learning experiences using ADDIE and adult learning principles.
• Create content using Articulate 360 and Synthesia, including microlearning and ILT materials.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content and ensure accuracy.
• Manage multiple projects with PM best practices.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and improve solutions.
