Commonwealth of VA Careers is seeking a Program Manager, AI Engagement & Enablement in Fairfax, VA. You will lead the university's AI ambassador program, recruit and mentor student ambassadors, and coordinate activities with Microsoft and campus partners.

You will oversee a small team, drive engagement, measure outcomes, and report on program effectiveness to support responsible AI adoption across the university community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Progressively responsible experience in program management, project management, training, or higher education administration.
• Experience supervising student employees or ambassadors.
• Experience coordinating programs involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience planning events and outreach initiatives.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, and digital productivity technologies.
• Knowledge of program management and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Leads the AI ambassador and engagement programs across the university.
• Recruits, onboards, trains, and mentors student ambassadors; oversees assignments and outreach.
• Coordinates workshops, demonstrations, and engagement activities; maintains regular meetings and professional development.
• Liaises with Microsoft representatives, university stakeholders, and technical staff; ensures program sustainability.
• Tracks participation, metrics, and outcomes; prepares reports and recommendations.
• Supervises 2–3 AI program staff; sets goals and development plans; fosters collaboration and service excellence.
