Job summary

Hodge Company in Dubuque, IA seeks an AI Enablement Strategist to accelerate adoption of AI and automation across the enterprise. You will guide discovery, governance, and cultural change, ensuring the right problems are identified and handed off for delivery while measuring impact.

You’ll chair the AI Champion Group and staff the AI Steering Committee, partnering with executive leaders across Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to build durable enterprise AI literacy and responsible usage.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience leading process improvement across cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of modern AI capabilities and translating tool capability into business use cases.
• Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
• Strong analytical, process design, and systems-thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and experience with Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coach leaders on responsible AI use and effective prompting practices.
• Chair the AI Champion Group and maintain a backlog of use cases.
• Staff the AI Steering Committee with intake, prioritization, guardrail proposals, and ROI reporting.
• Map priority workflows with departments and quantify baselines for improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and handoffs to IT or business units.
• Standardize reporting on savings, cycle time, and quality improvements.
• Maintain iteration backlog for continuous improvement after go-live.
• Collaborate across Operations, IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Training to align people, process, and technology.
• Uphold safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture.
