HDR, Inc. is seeking an Applied Data Scientist – AI Enablement to build internal AI capabilities and remove bottlenecks for scale across HDR’s Transportation group.

You will design and deploy AI solutions, enhance data foundations, and evolve internal capabilities toward client-facing delivery while keeping pace with innovation and governance. HDR values inclusion, ownership, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering tools and languages: SQL, Power Query, Pandas.
• 3+ years in BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib.
• 3+ years Python and R experience in data science projects.
• Hands-on with cloud environments and data pipelines for production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy internal AI solutions for HDR scale.
• Identify bottlenecks in data, systems, and tooling to enable AI growth.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate AI concepts clearly.
• Support future client-facing AI delivery and repeatable services.
