HDR, Inc. is seeking an Applied Data Scientist – AI Enablement to build internal AI capabilities and remove constraints hindering scale across HDR’s Transportation Business Group. The role starts with internal development and evolves toward client-facing AI delivery, leveraging proven solutions as repeatable services.

The position focuses on data pipelines, model lifecycle management, and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to drive scalable AI adoption across transportation projects.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of experience with data engineering tools and languages (SQL, Power Query, Pandas).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with data science languages (Python, R).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Internal AI capability development: design, develop, deploy AI solutions; build reusable components and data pipelines; manage full model lifecycle.
• Constraint and bottleneck identification: identify data, system, tooling, governance gaps; collaborate with IT and data architects to propose scalable improvements.
• Collaboration and communication: translate ambiguous problems into structured AI solutions; communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Future client-facing work: support client pursuits and pilot projects using internal AI capabilities.
