Job summary

Voice Systems Engineering (VSE) is a remote-first company focused on AI-enabled wellbeing and AI-assisted services across Psychic Source, Plasma Futures and Soundbed. We seek a Head of AI Enablement & Transformation to consolidate ongoing AI work into a single, well-governed program and to ship agentic AI capabilities that empower forty-five non-technical staff.

You will own the stack and guardrails, driving rapid impact.

Qualifications

• Track record of personally building and shipping agentic AI systems, automations or LLM-powered tools used by people in the last 12 months.
• At least 7 years in technology, operations, product, consulting or transformation roles, with at least 2 years of applied generative AI work.
• Fluency with the current LLM ecosystem: prompting, agents, tool use, evaluation, retrieval, workflow orchestration and major model providers.
• Scripting or coding ability sufficient to prototype, integrate via APIs, and troubleshoot without waiting on an engineering team.
• Demonstrated success rolling out AI or automation across a non-technical workforce, with measurable gains.
• Experience establishing governance, responsible-AI or data-handling policies in live environments.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching and communication skills with engineers and non-technical staff.
• Comfort owning a capability end to end, with direct accountability for results and without a team reporting to you.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and ship AI agents, automations and tools used by many employees.
• Lead hands-on enablement across the company with sessions, playbooks and AI champions network.
• Redesign core workflows around AI capabilities in partnership with the teams doing the work.
• Own the AI scorecard and publish weekly results with targets and rationale.
• Decide the tooling stack, evaluate models and platforms, and manage build-versus-buy decisions.
• Build guardrails: graduated autonomy, prompt provenance, data-classification, and policy alignment with Legal/HR/IT.
• Manage use-case pipeline from intake to rollout and retirement with transparency.
• Ensure output quality through sources validation, retesting, and human oversight where needed.
• Foster a high-performing team culture and monitor AI impact on capability vs. pressure.
