Job summary

AMOpportunities is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the reporting, controls, and financial operations as we scale. You will manage month-end close, board and lender reporting, and lead the building of scalable processes with AI-enabled tools.

The role reports to the VP Finance and partners with auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and cross-functional teams. You will be pivotal in establishing strong controls, data integrity, and an infrastructure that supports rapid growth, including potential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience owning external audits and year-end financial statements.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel and large datasets handling.
• Experience with cloud accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process end to end, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
• Own and run core financial operations - accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage specialized payment runs, including weekly preceptor and physician stipend payments, affiliate and commission payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Maintain cash position visibility and support liquidity and cash flow forecasting.
• Support the acquisition integration of PreceptorLink as we move from Quickbooks to Xero.
