Job summary

AMOpportunities is seeking an Accounting Manager to own reporting, controls, and financial operations as we scale. You will drive the month-end close, cash forecasting, and the integration of new systems post-acquisition, reporting to the VP Finance.

You will collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and cross-functional partners, with a focus on building scalable, well-documented processes and controls for a growing company. Local in Chicago required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting external audits and year-end financial statements.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and financial records end-to-end.
• Manage A/R, A/P, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
