Job summary

Notion is seeking an experienced product operations professional to redesign cross-functional workflows and embed AI across Notion, Slack, email, and support tools. You will design end-to-end processes for Foundations teams, focusing on speed, auditability, and reliability.

You will architect multi-system workflows with clear states, permissions, and runbooks, ensuring adoption through collaboration with stakeholders and teams across Finance, Legal, People, Ops, Data, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in operations design, service design, product operations, business systems, or internal tools.
• Experience designing or building with AI assistants and agents, workflow automation, or internal tooling.
• Process mapping and SOPs: journey maps, service blueprints, operating models.
• Clear communication and stakeholder judgment across tools and teams.
• Comfort with ambiguity in fast-moving environments and collaborating with engineers/PMs.

Responsibilities

• Redesign cross-functional processes end to end for Foundations business teams.
• Architect multi-system workflows spanning Notion, Slack, email, support tooling, and data.
• Design for failure with edge cases, controls, and handoffs for auditability.
• Embed AI with human-in-the-loop patterns and clear rationale for AI actions.
• Build and maintain custom agents, skills, and runbooks for intake, triage, routing, escalation, and reporting.
• Instrument success: define metrics, measure, and iterate based on data.
• Set standards for AI safety, permissions, transparency, and workflow documentation.
• Drive adoption and change management through stakeholder collaboration.
