Job summary

SailPoint is seeking Senior Forward Deployed Engineers in Austin to lead AI-driven, foundational implementations for large, strategic accounts. You will partner with sales, solution engineering, and product teams to deliver high-value engagements and proof-of-value deployments.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years in enterprise software, strong leadership, and experience with modern SaaS architectures and agentic coding tools. Travel up to 15% may be required as engagements demand.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in enterprise software, systems integrator, or consulting.
• 3+ years in software implementation or pre-sales.
• Experience in development, implementation, and configuration.
• Team leadership or management experience.
• Excellent client communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of modern SaaS architecture.
• Experience with agentic coding tools.
• Familiar with Java, XML, Python, LDAP, SQL, PowerShell, JSON; cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) desirable.
• Experience with NodeJS/JavaScript/Typescript/Angular/React.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales process with direct and channel sales teams.
• Discover customer requirements and map to SailPoint solutions using AI tooling.
• Lead onsite and remote foundational implementation engagements.
• Educate customers on architecture, design, and best practices.
• Document customer requirements and map to SailPoint solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Contribute to designing Agentic technology solutions and demonstrations.
• Focus on SailPoint’s largest, most strategic accounts.
