Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead large, high-stakes programs that span multiple engineering teams and business functions. You will drive automation and AI-powered solutions, reducing coordination overhead while maintaining strong executive visibility and governance.

You will work across four archetypes—deep technical, cross-functional delivery, product deployment, and operations—owning outcomes and guiding complex bets to completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of TPM experience at a high-growth tech company
• Demonstrated ability to drive large cross-functional programs to completion with minimal direction
• Engineering credibility in complex domains such as observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML systems
• Proven track record of earned trust with senior engineering and product leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to VP+ levels
• Active AI practitioner using AI tools in daily work

Responsibilities

• Own large cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering orgs, product, and business functions
• Proactively surface systemic risks, dependencies, and friction before escalations
• Maintain SVP-level visibility through KPIs on Datadog’s top initiatives
• Bridge gaps between functions using credibility and domain expertise
• Identify repeatable program archetypes and engineer end-to-end AI solutions
• Automate program lifecycles to reduce coordination and overhead
• Contribute to TPM toolkit: AI-powered risk synthesis, dependency tracking and templates
• Drive the shift to self-executing program infrastructure
• Lead programs across deep technical, cross-functional, product delivery, and operational archetypes
• Decide when to scale or slow down based on technical and organizational impact
• Own outcomes and ship results with measurable impact
