Job summary

Decagon is seeking a Technical Sourcer in San Francisco to find and engage exceptional technical talent. You will own top-of-funnel sourcing across high-priority roles, working with Recruiters and Engineering leaders to excite candidates about our mission.

You’ll craft outreach, research markets, and build lasting relationships with candidates while leveraging AI tools to speed up sourcing. This is an in-office role with opportunities to grow quickly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sourcing, agency recruiting, or high-velocity environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with unfamiliar people.
• Curious about how companies and technologies work; quick learner.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced work.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage exceptional talent across Engineering and other technical roles
• Build creative sourcing strategies for competitive and hard-to-fill searches
• Develop a strong understanding of technical profiles and what differentiates great engineers
• Research companies, teams, and talent markets to identify candidates others might miss
• Write thoughtful, personalized outreach that gets candidates excited about Decagon
• Partner closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to understand their teams, calibrate on talent, and continuously improve searches
• Build relationships with candidates and create an exceptional experience from the first interaction
• Experiment with AI and new tools to make sourcing faster, smarter, and more effective
• Take on increasing ownership across the recruiting process as you grow
