Job summary

Decagon is seeking a Technical Sourcer to identify and engage top technical talent in engineering and related fields. You will own the top of the funnel, map talent markets, and craft outreach to excite candidates about Decagon.

You will collaborate with Recruiters and Engineering leaders, shaping how we find and hire exceptional engineers while growing ownership across the recruiting process in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in sourcing, agency recruiting, or high-velocity roles.
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building ability.
• Curious and eager to learn how teams and technologies work.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

About the Role

Decagon is growing quickly and we’re looking for a Technical Sourcer to help us find and engage exceptional technical talent.

You’ll work closely with our Recruiters and Engineering leaders to identify the people we want at Decagon and figure out how to get them excited about what we’re building. You’ll own top-of-funnel across some of our highest-priority technical searches, from mapping talent markets and identifying great candidates to crafting outreach and building relationships.

We care more about raw ability, drive, and potential than whether you’ve followed a traditional recruiting career path. This could be a great fit for an agency recruiter looking to move in-house, a Recruiting Coordinator or Sourcer ready to take on more ownership, or someone from a high-velocity sales environment who wants to build a career in Talent.

In this role, you will

Your background looks something like this

• 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in sourcing, agency recruiting, recruiting coordination, sales, or another high-velocity environment
• You’re highly motivated and want to accelerate your career
• You’re naturally curious and enjoy learning how companies, teams, and technologies work
• You’re a strong communicator and comfortable reaching out to and building relationships with people you don’t know
• You’re resourceful and willing to try different approaches when the obvious answer doesn’t work
• You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities at once
• You thrive in fast-moving environments with high expectations

Even better if you have

• Experience sourcing or recruiting technical talent
• Experience at a recruiting agency or executive search firm
• A track record of outperforming goals or taking on responsibility quickly
• Genuine interest in AI, startups, and technology
• A competitive streak and a desire to become exceptional at your craft

Compensation

$110k - $160k + equity
