Job summary

Decagon is seeking a Technical Sourcer to identify and engage top technical talent in engineering and related fields. You will own the top of the funnel, map talent markets, and craft outreach to excite candidates about Decagon.

You will collaborate with Recruiters and Engineering leaders, shaping how we find and hire exceptional engineers while growing ownership across the recruiting process in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in sourcing, agency recruiting, or high-velocity roles.
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building ability.
• Curious and eager to learn how teams and technologies work.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage exceptional talent across Engineering and other technical roles.
• Build creative sourcing strategies for competitive and hard-to-fill searches.
• Develop a strong understanding of technical profiles and what differentiates great engineers.
• Research companies, teams, and talent markets to identify candidates others might miss.
• Write thoughtful, personalized outreach that gets candidates excited about Decagon.
• Partner closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to understand their teams, calibrate on talent, and continuously improve searches.
• Build relationships with candidates and create an exceptional experience from the first interaction.
• Experiment with AI and new tools to make sourcing faster, smarter, and more effective.
• Take on increasing ownership across the recruiting process as you grow.
