Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Support Systems Lead in Foster City, CA. You will own the Zendesk stack, automation, and the infrastructure enabling self-service and AI-driven support as the product scales.

You will partner with Engineering to define requirements for self-service, setup cross-functional workflows, and drive efficiency by removing bottlenecks with automation. This is an individual contributor role with growth potential in a fast-moving AI company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in support operations or similar technical operations.
• Hands-on Zendesk administration with triggers, automations, macros, and SLAs.
• Experience building integrations via APIs and webhooks; comfortable with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Zendesk and surrounding support stack for scalable workflows.
• Build and maintain assignment logic, queues, tagging, taxonomy, and escalation paths.
• Set up tooling, workflows, and access across agents, vendors, and regions.
• Partner with Engineering on self-service and in-product support surfaces.
• Identify repetitive steps and implement automations and bulk actions.
• Gather tool requests, evaluate stacks, and lead migrations if platforms change.
