Job summary

Amentum seeks a Top-Secret cleared Solutions Architect / Technical Lead to join our Washington, DC team. You will lead an engineering group building and operating national security enterprise applications, architect scalable AWS cloud solutions, integrate AI work, and drive DevOps within SAFe Agile.

Responsibilities span technical leadership, cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance with security accreditation processes (ATO).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Experience with backend/frontend and API design.
• Experience implementing IaC using Terraform or similar.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development and architectural design.
• Design, integrate, and deploy AI-driven capabilities and cloud solutions.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab.
• Champion SAFe Agile and Scrum in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support ATO and security accreditation processes.
