Amentum seeks a Top-Secret cleared Systems Engineer to join a mission‑driven team advancing data innovation for national intelligence priorities. You will lead large‑scale data analysis, design on‑prem and cloud apps, and provide hands‑on support for daily network operations and system anomalies.

Responsibilities span troubleshooting, patching, accreditation tasks, SOP creation, and advising leadership on tech investments to enable secure processing, storage and access across complex

Qualifications

• Strong Linux skills and 8+ years of enterprise experience across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Experience with cloud service providers, data centers, virtualization and SaaS/PaaS models.
• Ability to implement security best practices and document architectures and processes.
• Proficient in monitoring, alerting and optimizing cloud and on-prem resources.
• Capability to lead teams or work as an individual contributor on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and design network hardware and server environments; test and implement changes.
• Provide day-to-day operations support for network hardware and operating systems; monitor performance.
• Troubleshoot across physical and logical network layers using measurement tools and protocols.
• Plan design and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and OS for voice/data networks.
• Perform systems management and integration; leverage virtualization and network administration skills.
• Maintain infrastructure standards including TCP/IP and related protocols.
• Advise leadership on technology investments, processing, storage and app development.
• Support certification, accreditation tasks and create SOPs/quick references for users.
• Develop client/server architecture and define the infrastructure to support strategy.
