Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Security Operations Center, including the FedRAMP-authorized environment. This role drives AI-enabled SOC strategy, incident response, and 24/7 monitoring across a growing enterprise.

You will influence detection maturity, build scalable processes, and elevate the SOC through stronger automation, governance, and executive reporting. A strong background in SIEM/SOAR and FedRAMP is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations, incident response, or related field.
• Experience serving as Incident Manager coordinating investigations under pressure.
• Experience building or maturing a SOC operating model with 24/7 coverage, playbooks, and escalation.
• Hands-on background in detection and response with fluency in SIEM/SOAR and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience managing and developing SOC analysts, including hiring and mentoring.
• Track record of defining and reporting SOC metrics (MTTD, MTTR, coverage) to technical and exec audiences.
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks and audits (FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar).
• Strong communication skills for briefing executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 monitoring and ensure coverage across shifts and regions.
• Serve as Incident Manager for major security incidents, coordinating cross-team investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC processes, playbooks, runbooks, and escalation procedures.
• Own AI-enabled SOC roadmap: AI-assisted triage, investigation support, and response automation.
• Grow detection maturity and expand coverage across cloud, SaaS, on-prem, and FedRAMP systems.
• Set direction and operating model for a modern SOC; manage planning, budgeting, and staffing.
• Report on MTTD, MTTR, coverage, and analyst workload to executives.
• Support FedRAMP and other audits with evidence collection and remediation tracking.
