Job summary

Staples is recruiting a Manager, Sales Intelligence & Strategy to own an AI-enabled sales intelligence platform that helps sellers prioritize customers and uncover opportunities. The role blends analytics, product ownership, and stakeholder collaboration across Sales, Data, and Strategy teams.

Approximately half the role focuses on analytics, semantic models, and AI capabilities to boost seller productivity, with the rest on product roadmap, adoption, and governance to ensure scalable, accurate

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or sales strategy.
• 3+ years of experience leading projects or teams.
• Experience building analytical, reporting, or automation solutions.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Alteryx, Salesforce, Snowflake or similar tools.
• Data modeling, semantic layers, governance, and BI best practices.
• SQL or equivalent for data prep and analysis.
• Experience leading complex initiatives from requirements to adoption.
• Strong quantitative, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, operation, and continuous improvement of strategic sales intelligence products.
• Translate business strategies into requirements, metrics, and data designs.
• Analyze sales performance to identify opportunities, risks, and actions.
• Build scalable analytics solutions, dashboards, and automated reporting.
• Establish validation, monitoring, and change controls for accuracy and stability.
• Manage roadmaps and multiple initiatives balancing immediate needs with long-term scalability.
• Drive adoption and continuous enhancement of capabilities.
• Provide leadership across major initiatives and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with Sales, Strategy, Operations, Data, and Tech teams.
• Present insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Evaluate emerging analytics methods and AI capabilities for value.
