Job summary

Prime Communications in Sugar Land, TX seeks a Learning & Development Specialist to design and deliver practical training that strengthens sales execution, employee readiness, and the customer experience across the organization. You'll partner with field sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals into measurable training.

You will build engaging training with Articulate Rise and AI tools, run in-person and virtual sessions for 10–50 participants, and evaluate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Training.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise or similar authoring tools.
• Familiarity with instructional design methods (ADDIE, SAM, microlearning).
• Experience conducting needs assessments to identify training gaps.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and/or building AI trainer agents/chatbots.
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a sales environment.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience using business and sales performance measures to evaluate training impact.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments with stakeholders and field leaders to identify training requirements and sales opportunities.
• Partner with sales, compliance, IT, and operations to align training to objectives.
• Build interactive e-learning modules in Articulate Rise using instructional design methods.
• Use AI tools to speed content development and updates.
• Build and maintain AI-driven trainer agents for field coaching and support.
• Develop training on sales strategy, product knowledge, and compliance.
• Keep training materials current with products and policies.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions for groups of 10-50 with roleplays and coaching.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Independently manage multiple training projects and shifting priorities.
• Maintain LMS content and completion tracking.
