Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. seeks an experienced R&D Engineer to advance RFIC, analog, and microwave layout automation with AI-assisted workflows. You will contribute to PCell development and scalable tools that tie layout generation to circuit and EM simulations.

You'll collaborate with RFIC designers and software engineers to deliver production-quality EDA capabilities, enabling faster design convergence and higher product performance.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong hands-on RFIC, analog, microwave, or mixed-signal design experience.
• Deep expertise in layout automation and PCell development.
• Solid knowledge of design rules, physical verification, and EM-aware practices.
• Experience with Python and/or C++ software development.
• Familiarity with circuit simulation and design automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced PCells, Python-based cells, and automated layout for RFIC/microwave/analog parts.
• Implement layout automation for geometry generation, placement, routing, and symmetry.
• Integrate layout automation with circuit/EM simulators for design optimization.
• Develop ML-based optimization, surrogate modeling, and design-space exploration.
• Build scalable Python/C++ software to support AI-assisted design workflows.
• Collaborate with RFIC designers, modeling experts, and software engineers on production-grade capabilities.
