Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Sr. Staff SDET to own quality architecture and AI-driven testing across critical systems. This senior technical leader will build frameworks, define safe-to-ship criteria, and guide multiple teams in adopting AI across the testing and release pipeline.

You will lead the design of scalable quality platforms, establish testing guardrails, and mentor senior engineers while shaping reliability, performance, and signal metrics in a fully remote US environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on quality engineering/SDET experience.
• Experience architecting quality strategy and automation platforms for multiple teams.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages used to build automation tooling (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin).
• Hands-on AI-enhanced testing: AI-assisted test generation, agent workflows, and self-healing automation.

Responsibilities

• Own quality architecture and long-term strategy for critical systems.
• Design shared quality platforms, automation frameworks, and test infrastructure.
• Define AI-driven testing strategy and establish guardrails for trustworthy AI testing.
• Mentor senior SDETs and quality engineers; drive post-incident analysis and reliability improvements.
