Job summary

Accelerant is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to own the test automation strategy across the enterprise stack, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, D365, and reporting. Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks in production.
• Experience automating against complex enterprise SaaS (Salesforce, MuleSoft, D365).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI coding assistants (Cursor).
• Solid API testing, contract testing, and integration testing patterns across layers.
• Ability to define test strategy and defend it to engineering leadership and the business.
• Strong communication skills and autonomous work style in ambiguous environments.
• Bias for action and ability to operate independently in fast-changing contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own the test automation roadmap end to end; set strategy and drive execution with QA and engineering.
• Scale the foundational framework and improve test performance.
• Expand coverage breadth and depth to core enterprise systems.
• Define design and review processes to maintain automation quality at scale.
• Scale test execution with fast feedback through parallel runs and dashboards.
• Build AI-enabled QA agents using Cursor and deploy them as reusable products.
• Collaborate with AI platform teams to host agents on the org's fabric.
