Job summary

HighLevel is seeking a Director of SDET to lead the quality engineering vision across multiple product lines. You will mentor SDET managers, drive AI/ML-based testing adoption, and align quality with business goals in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps and Security to set quality KPIs, define testing strategies for microservices, and steward scalable automation across teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software testing/quality engineering.
• 5+ years in a Director or senior engineering leadership role.
• Deep expertise in test automation frameworks and languages (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, containers, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end quality engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Mentor SDET Managers and Leads to grow the leadership layer.
• Champion AI-driven testing tools adoption to improve coverage and productivity.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Security leadership to align quality with business needs.
• Define, monitor KPIs/OKRs and provide regular quality updates to executives.
