EY is building a Challenger program focused on AI-enabled services. The role targets an end-to-end builder who moves from user conversations to prototypes, secure services, and durable products.

You will work in small, dedicated teams to test ideas in real conditions and ship value with a focus on speed, accessibility, and maintainability. The role requires 7+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel up to 50% with hybrid office presence across US locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• End-to-end delivery: taking software from concept to launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data and cloud technologies.
• Applied AI experience with large language models, retrieval, tools, or similar patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavioral evaluation for probabilistic systems.
• Live-service ownership: telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, recovery, and performance improvement.
• User-centered practice: working with users, designers, and product leaders to improve decisions.
• Engineering craft: clear specifications, maintainable code, thoughtful reviews, and sound trade-offs.
• Role requires up to 50% travel and hybrid office presence.

Responsabilités

• Start with the user and understand real workflows to identify AI value.
• Test assumptions quickly with concise specifications and prototypes.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior with context, retrieval, outputs, and tool use.
• Build the evidence system with representative tasks and evaluations.
• Instrument user journeys to relate adoption to system behavior and costs.
• Engineer for responsible use with data handling, permissions and graceful degradation.
• Own production quality by releasing incrementally and monitoring live behavior.
• Make practical trade-offs balancing experience, quality, speed, reliability and cost.
• Share reusable patterns and evaluation assets with the platform.
