Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• End-to-end delivery from concept through launch, learning, and adoption.
• Technical breadth across modern frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud technologies.
• Applied AI experience with LLMs, retrieval, tools, or comparable AI patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavioral evaluation.
• Live-service ownership including telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, and recovery.
• User-centered practice with direct collaboration with users, designers, and product leaders.
• Engineering craft with clear specifications, maintainable code, thoughtful reviews, and sound technical trade-offs.
• Travel and on-site requirements: up to 50% travel; hybrid office.

Responsibilities

• Understand real workflows with users and domain experts.
• Turn product hypotheses into concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and integrations.
• Design AI behavior with instructions, context, retrieval, and structured outputs.
• Create automated evaluations to show usefulness, correctness, safety, and accessibility.
• Instrument user journeys to map adoption to system behavior and cost.
• Build secure data handling, checkpoints, degradation, recovery, and rollback.
• Release incrementally, monitor live behavior, and respond to incidents.
• Balance experience, quality, speed, reliability, and cost using deterministic software when apt.
• Share reusable components and evaluation assets across the platform.
