EY is seeking an experienced engineer to turn emerging AI capabilities into durable products. You’ll work close to users, product decisions, and production code, turning demonstrations into trusted services. This role requires founder-like ownership, rapid prototyping, and a focus on accessibility and maintainability.

You’ll join Challenger, a fast-moving EY program, with small teams testing ideas in real conditions and transitioning successful solutions to the business for scale.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• End-to-end delivery from concept to launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data and cloud.
• Applied AI experience with LLMs, retrieval, tools or similar patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavior evaluation.
• Live-service ownership including telemetry, debugging and reliability.
• User-centered practice with direct collaboration with users and product leaders.
• Engineering craft with clear specs, maintainable code and sound trade-offs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and to work in a hybrid capacity.

Responsabilidades

• Start with the user; work with users and domain experts to identify real workflows.
• Test assumptions quickly with concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior with instructions, context, retrieval, and outputs.
• Build the evidence system with representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Instrument user journeys to relate adoption to system behavior and cost.
• Engineer for responsible use with permission boundaries and secure data handling.
• Own production quality; release incrementally and monitor live behavior.
• Make practical trade-offs balancing experience, quality, speed, and cost.
• Contribute reusable patterns and evaluation assets across the platform.
